- Mural dedicated October 2009
Drawing from the unique history of Evanston, this mural serves to honor the history of King Records and inspire today's youth. The mural's imagery, a man and a young girl on his shoulders, embody the empowering history of the community and the bright prospects of the future. Bold colors and large geometric shapes immediately catch the eye of everyone who passes by. With words such as celebrate, believe, and dream woven throughout it, this energetic mural connects Evanston’s history to both its present and future.
