Working on a site-specific interactive sculpture for the Contemporary Art Center's UnMuseum, this group of apprentices pondered the connection between kinetic art, science, and design. They built a stationary bike-powered city, Octopolis, that, when pedaled by the viewer, powers art the viewer can see. Looming overhead is the giant Octofly, a creature seeking to wreak havoc on the city of Octopolis! The sculpture will be on display in the UnMuseum for two years.
