ArtWorks Currently Seeking Youth Apprentices

February 10, 2014  ArtWorks Cincinnati is getting ready to hire teens and professional staff for a summer’s worth of projects.

Approximately 150 spots are available for apprentices aged 14-21. Online applications are due March 14, with interviews March 22-23 at the Contemporary Arts Center. Apprentices are paid minimum wage for roughly 25 hours of work a week for four to nine weeks (depending on length of the project). Work starts beginning June 12.

What could you do? Though ArtWorks is largely known for painting murals on the side of buildings around town, those murals are just part of the activities this summer.  ArtWorks is also looking for young people with skills in  photography, art therapy, sewing, and graphic design.

Photographer Richard Renaldi will be working with apprentices on a FotoFocus-related project.
