What is MuralWorks? Imagine vibrant, exciting works of art in every Cincinnati neighborhood created through a process that engages residents, businesses, and artists who work together to transform the community. ArtWorks is proud to introduce MuralWorks, a brand-new year-round public art program serving the City of Cincinnati. Through the MuralWorks program, we will work with teenage and professional artists as well as community members to create murals. Each year, MuralWorks will paint more masterpieces with the ultimate goal of creating murals in every Cincinnati neighborhood. These murals will speak to the city's history, imagination, and aspirations, while acting as powerful agents of neighborhood transformation, civic pride, and identity. Blank walls throughout Cincinnati will soon become colorful murals, telling many amazing stories, and MuralWorks is proud to help create them!
