Art isn’t just for galleries anymore.

Consider the bathroom as your canvas.  This project will create art in unexpected places at the Cincinnati Art Museum.  Apprentices will experiment with graphic design, printmaking, and other mediums to create site-specific installations for the Great Hall bathrooms at the CAM.  You’ll also learn about product design and create custom crafted artful objects to be sold in the CAM gift shop such as wrapped toiletries.

Apply for this project if you:

  • Appreciate art in unusual places
  • Like using many different techniques and mediums to create artwork
  • Are interested in product design and/or creating custom interior installation

Skills you will use and learn:  Design, product and graphic design, printmaking, and installation techniques.  (You will not have to clean the bathrooms first.)

Submit visual samples to be considered for this project.
