ArtWorks Presents: Cincinnati's First Box Truck Carnival
From September 22nd – 24th, 2011 ten box trucks were located on a closed down 12th Street between Vine and Walnut. Cincinnati’s first ever Box Truck Carnival, the main attraction on the MidPoint Midway, showcased some of Cincinnati’s most talented artists and entrepreneurs. Visitors got to explore and experience these inventors' creations as they transformed the mundane into the spectacular. Visitors got to see locally produced independent films from the Midland Film Institute’s MidPoint Box Truck Theatre, Play Yes Gallery’s oversized old-school games, be illuminated by Losantiville’s LightBox Truck, Ride Able Project’s SkateABLE Solution, Get on you Soapbox with Soapbox, shoot for par with parProject's parPutters putt-putt course, join Know Theatre’s presentation of We-Haul and enjoy edible jewelry from Olive Branch Metals Lollipop Ring Shop.
