SUMMARY:Spendor in the Grass Exhibition Opening
DESCRIPTION:Join ArtWorks for the opening of “Splendor in the Grass\,” the second exhibition of the season at ArtWorks’ “Your Name Here” Gallery\, on Friday\, June 27\, from 5 to 7 p.m.\n\nLed by Artist-in-Residence Julia Lipovsky\, this exhibition showcases the work of six emerging artists\, ages 18 to 24\, who participated in the Your Name Here Gallery Fellowship program. Guided by Lipovsky\, the fellows explored themes of personal narrative and visual voices\, each illustrating lyrics from Jackie DeShannon’s 1968 song Splendor in the Grass.\n\nThe Gallery Fellows in this exhibition include: Abby Blenk\, Erin Richter\, Oskar Benzing\, Hannan Durham\, Kema Tewodros\, and Chaela Burris.\n
