SUMMARY:constellation (rumi maki) Mural Dedication
DESCRIPTION:Join ArtWorks to celebrate the completion of constellation (rumi maki) on Monday\, August 25\, from 3-4:30 p.m. at 2827 Gilbert Ave\, 45206. \n  \nArtWorks collaborated with celebrated artist william cordova and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park to produce a monumental mural on the side of the Playhouse’s scenic and props facility—an essential yet underrecognized hub of artistic production. Cordova’s work\, rich with symbolic abstraction and layered cultural references\, will transform this hidden site into a new landmark\, drawing more attention to Walnut Hills as an emerging arts district and revealing the creative infrastructure that supports one of the city’s premier theatrical institutions. \n  \nThis project was completed by a team of 16 Youth Apprentices! \nMural designer: william cordova \nLead Teaching Artist: Mark Hanavan \nTeaching Artists: Maria Bossert and Holly Yarab \n  \nThis mural dedication is free and open to the public.
