go Vibrant and Avondale Development Corporation; in partnership with ArtWorks, Landor, and Cincinnati Parks, collaborated to add exercise and play features in Cincinnati Park’s Fleischmann Gardens in Avondale.
The new features, Twist and Hop Mash Up and Salsa Steps, provide a new and unique way to exercise and play at the park.
A public dedication to celebrate the new exercise and play activities will take place on Saturday, November 10 at 4:30 p.m. at Fleischmann Gardens’ stage.
The dedication will include remarks from Mark Jeffreys and Laura Chrysler from go Vibrant; April Gallelli; Henry and Elizabeth Brown from Avondale; Jennifer Foster, leader of the go Vibrant Million Step Neighborhood Challenge for Avondale’s team; Linnea Gartin, ArtWorks program supervisor; local Avondale Artists from ArtWorks; Cincinnati Parks; and David Mann, Cincinnati City Council member and Neighborhood Committee leader.
Following the dedication, visitors can interact with the new features. There will be a demonstration at the dedication to show the public how to use the new features. go Vibrant and ArtWorks staff will be on hand to answer questions.
