The team at ArtWorks would love to send a message of gratitude to Charles H. Dater Foundation. The foundation supported ArtWorks’ 2021 season of Stronger Together with a generous grant of $30,000. This has been a monumental gift as we celebrate 25 years of ArtWorks.
For the first time in its history, ArtWorks has been able to hire 200 young artists and interns to fulfill our mission. From Madisonville to Avondale to Cincinnati’s airport, our Teaching Artists and Youth Apprentices have left the ArtWorks imprint across the region.
Public art isn’t the only outcome. Our youth consistently share about the power of their experiences in our program. Izzy, age 17 shared about the beauty in the importance of being a team player and simultaneously being a strong individual.
“Working at ArtWorks taught my team and me the valuable lesson of being self-driven, working independently, and working collectively while striving to be better artists and better people each day,” he said.
