Do you love Cincinnati’s street art? Of course you do! So vote today in USA Today’s 10Best Best City for Street Art Contest! The contest mentions the more than 200 permanent outdoor murals created by ArtWorks throughout our region.
“Someday, we’ll all be ready to pack our suitcases again and head out on our next adventures,” the newspaper writes. “In the meantime, we’ll keep supporting the places that inspire us. Street art is exploding in popularity from coast to coast. Urban art gives you insight into a city’s culture and personality, and these 20 American cities have some of the best collections of public art.”
Vote once per day for your favorite until polls close on Monday, April 26 at noon ET. The winning cities, as determined by your vote, will be announced on Friday, May 7.
ArtWorks is an award-winning Greater Cincinnati nonprofit that transforms people and places through investments in creativity. The organization collaborates with community organizations and residents, businesses, governments, foundations and nonprofits to build creative works of art that bolster the region’s global reputation as an arts destination. ArtWorks employs professional artists who inspire and mentor diverse teams of youth, ages 14-21, helping them build 21st century career-readiness skills. These teams have completed more than 12,500 public and private art projects in its 25 years, including more than 200 permanent outdoor murals.
