Little Amal Art Activity

Prior to Little Amal’s walk, gather for a Crown Making Workshop led by ArtWorks’ Civic Art Studio.
At 3pm, Amal will journey from Covington to Cincinnati across the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge. Upon reaching the bridge’s midpoint, Amal will be greeted by children, immigrants, refugees and supporters to receive signs of welcome, including a large-scale crown crafted by ArtWorks’ Civic Art Studio.
After the walk, join ArtWorks and Artists Michael Thompson and Jason Al Ghussein to take part in creating a temporary/mobile mural.
Little Amal’s visit to Cincinnati is presented by Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra with producing partners Cincinnati Compass, Kroger Wellness Festival, and Cincinnati National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
