Wet Paint: Jaylin Monet Stewart

Meet artist Jaylin Monet Stewart at ArtWorks’ first Wet Paint of the year, Thursday, May 9 from 6–7:30 p.m. at the 21C Museum Hotel.

Wet Paint is ArtWorks’ quarterly event series that offers a look behind the scenes of our upcoming projects—an array of new art planned for our region—centering on the artists who make our city vibrant.

This month, we’re featuring Jaylin Monet Stewart, a self-taught artist born and raised in West Louisville, Kentucky. Jaylin stands as a prolific artist, visionary founder of a non-profit organization, inspiring educator, and revered community role model. Her diverse artistic portfolio includes painting, murals, mixed media, chalk, installation, fiber art and performance.
