Sail into a night of enchantment and elegance as Kentucky’s stunning natural beauty is brought to life at Art Off the Walls: Sunrise to Starlight, Saturday, September 14 from 6:30–10:30 p.m. at Newport Car Barn. Historically voted Cincinnati’s best Arts & Culture Fundraiser, Art Off the Walls celebrates ArtWorks’ monumental public masterpieces and the talented artists who make them possible.

FEATURED MURALS
This year we celebrate ArtWorks’ newest murals in Newport, created in partnership with Corporex for their state-of-the-art Ovation project, along Northern Kentucky’s scenic riverfront. Two large-scale murals will take center stage at Art Off the Walls: Adrienne Dixon’s “Resilience (Sunrise)”—a breathtaking tribute to Kentucky’s lush landscapes and Emily Howard’s “I Wrap Myself in Starlight”—a magical fusion of myth, folklore, and the divine human form. These works of art are part of Corporex’s inspiring CASA concept – combining Color, Art, Sound, and Architecture in their projects.

2023 Art Off the Walls |  Kick It in the West End

Historically voted best Arts & Culture Fundraiser in the city, all proceeds from the event support ArtWorks’ mission of creating community-based public art that provides career opportunities for artists of all ages.

The 2023 event was chaired by Kim and Mike Hoeting.

“We are so grateful for each and every person who came out to support ArtWorks, and the invaluable work they do for artists and community-based public art,” said Kim Hoeting. “It was a privilege to be a part of such an awe-inspiring event that celebrated the organization’s commitment in an epic way!”

This magical, inspiring evening included a mural-inspired Pones dance performance featuring ArtWorks Apprentices, mural projections and lighting affects by Brave Berlin, a dance party featuring music by DJ Monet, Silent and Live Auctions highlighted many local artists and businesses, Master of Ceremonies Bob Jerzog, and so much more.

Thank you to the nearly 400 attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, team members, and supporters who helped make this fundraiser a success.
