Secret ArtWorks: The Masters For our sixth annual event, we have changed it up a bit. We invited approximately 400 Master Artists to submit work. These are artists with local, national, and even international reputations and followings- people who have been covered in the art press, noted by curators and collectors, and/or who have been in the TOP 100 group from previous years. This means a more concise collection of top quality art!

Our location has also changed! Previously, we have held the event in the Westin Hotel, but the former home of the Contemporary Arts Center at the MCA Event Center in the Mercantile Building has become an event venue. We thought it would be fun to move Secret ArtWorks: The Masters to this intimate space where so many great contemporary exhibitions have occurred in the past.

What hasn't changed is the event format! The Master Artists create their work as 5" x 7" mini-masterpieces and sign them on the back. These works will be displayed at Secret ArtWorks: The Masters, but as before, the identity of the artist remains hidden until the piece is chosen.

Preview You can preview all of the Secret "Master" Works online, or in person at the Westin Hotel Atrium from Monday, November 14 – Thursday, November 17.

All proceeds benefit ArtWorks, an award-winning arts organization that gives talented youth from the Greater Cincinnati area an opportunity to work, learn, and earn in the summer and after school with jobs as Apprentice Artists. Working under the guidance of professional artists and art educators, youth Apprentices create high quality public works of art with civic value.
