On October 16, ArtWorks proudly dedicated Fountain of Love, designed by Aley Wild, a vibrant new addition to Cincinnati’s public art gallery celebrating the 10th anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court ruling that legalized marriage equality across the United States.
Held atop the Mercer Commons Garage in Over-the-Rhine, the event brought together community members, artists, and leaders for an unforgettable evening of joy, reflection, and love. Guests heard inspiring remarks from Jim Obergefell, Mayor Aftab Pureval, Dwayne Steward, CEO of Equality Ohio, and Dahlia Wang, an ArtWorks Mural Studio artist who helped bring the mural to life. With music by DJ Boywife, colorful photo moments, and gourmet popsicles by Streetpops, the celebration captured the spirit of love and progress that defines this landmark artwork.
